I really enjoyed welcoming and exceptional employees!
The weather was warm, had such great stay during a visit to look after a vulnerable family member. The location was marvellous and stunning, at a walking distance from Boldon Business Park. It was across the great area.

Extremely long way out of Sunderland and a very expensive taxi to get there and back the next day. Room was a bit cold. Ironing board very old and needed replacing. Steak was not great. Poor coffee. However, the staff were great and very helpful

The hotel also offers a leisure club with a gym and spa, which was a significant draw for my visit, although I couldn’t utilize these facilities due to unforeseen circumstances.
My experience was marred by a swampy smell emanating from the wall cavity around the air conditioning unit. the breakfast situation was quite disappointing, especially as I had to wait an hour in the bar for food, only to learn that a coach trip had reserved the dining space, leaving me without the options I came for.

Dinner was very good, nice service, modern equipment, possibility to do sports (swimming pool, good fitness room).
Shower trays are not comfortable for us to get in, boiler was defective during our stay, no hot water at peak times.

I stayed at the hotel because I was visiting family in nearby Jarrow. I thought the staff were most helpful especially when I arrived close to midnight due to a delayed flight.
None what so ever.

Ideal place for a solo traveler
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, they even remembered my name after the first night. Plus, the clean room had a nice mini fridge that worked well enough for my drinks.
It wasn't cheap, but honestly for the price it was still acceptable.
